It is my Birthday.

One year ago this month, I finally decided to share my progress of my recreation of this beloved game & created this itch.io page. It started slow, it had just 300 views in its first month of 2024 when it was only downloadable. But recently, I made it accessible as a web version, with my own created server, and the response has been incredible: 39.5k views and 25.5k browser plays so far! 

I still remember how I hated programming back in college. It felt intimidating at the time. But recreating my favorite childhood game flipped that completely. This project not only rekindled my passion for the game itself but also gave me the drive to learn programming from the ground up. I think this would be my 4th iteration of this game and I'm confident would be the last time I'll start from scratch. 

Most of the current players are the OG players & I'd like to thank them who’ve supported my version and welcomed it with open arms, as well as everyone who’s discovered it along the way. Your kind words, feedback, and enthusiasm mean more than I can say. And to everyone who’s taken the time to greet me today, thank you so much! Your support inspires me to keep growing, both as a developer and as a creator. Maraming Salamat!
